Physical and IMPACT Test:
All athletes going out for any sport during the 2016-17 school year must have a physical form, dated after May 1, 2016, and an NSAA parent permission form on file at school before they are allowed to practice.
Freshmen and junior atheltes going out for football, volleyball, softball, wrestling, soccer, and baseball will also need to complete an IMPACT test (computer pre-concussion baseline measurement) before they start practice. Please contact Drew Erks, the trainer, about gettting the IMPACT test.
We will post the conditioning a week or more in advance to help with scheduling on the Pius X boys soccer website.
We also communicate through a group chat called GroupMe. (Smartphone app also available through the computer) Once downloaded contact Micah Chaffee to be added to the group.
Each conditioning session by state rule will be an hour long and is not a required event.
Because of the weight room and gyms are in high demand from other sports, conditioning dates and times will vary. Most conditioning times will be from 8:00 – 9:00 PM. But if the weather is nice it maybe done after school.
We encourage all players to attend winter conditioning and make every opportunity to be ready for the start of the soccer season which starts February 27th.
